I don't expect split screen support with the way this game looks. My bro and I purchased a copy each, but haven't tried the multi yet (still at work). Can't wait to get at it.

There's a total of 8 maps, the maps range from medium sized to large sized maps, there are no small maps in my opinion. The maps have a fair amount of indoor as well as outdoor and for the large size maps you will always find a good spot to snipe from, however, the sniper rifle isn't as easy as it is in CoD4. That and you only unlock the sniper rifle once you've reached the highest rank in the game.

I think Unlocking scout at General is too high.
I just unlocked The SMG and shotgun, really like the SMG Anyone else think that there should be a grenade indicator? Would of been nice ------------------- ![]() But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I played the first 2 main story levels and then went online and haven't been off it since, tempted to skip football training
I'm very nearly level 4 so I should get a new type I think, it took me a little while to get used to it but it feels natural to me now. ------------------- ![]()

Just played with a general, he was amazing. He really helped our team out and the air support is one of them robot things that fly, really made the game feel even more like a war

quote Dresken I have a question. How much stealth-related situations are there in online play? I got the impression that it just really isn't that kind of game, considering how full on it is, like an actual all-out war. But then, if the maps are so big, then surely it can be fairly easy to sneak up on someone....? ------------------- ![]() ~ Fit to Burn ~

~Question about Multiplayer~ Does it take a lot of bullets to kill someone in Killzone 2? e.g. is it more realistc like in CoD4(not taking too many), or does it take a lot like in Resistance 2?

It takes a fair bit of ammo but it's realistic considering everyone's wearing pretty hefty armour.

You get 1 point per kill, and you get a point for doing an objective. Like, capturing a position or assassinating somebody.
If you win, you get a 1.5 multiplier of your points. ------------------- ![]() PSN/XBL: SixStringAddict

Also, once you unlock a certain medal the number of points per kill is increased.

Yeah, that confused me at first, too. The cross-hair icon mean kills, the pentagon means mission points, the next one is suicides (I think) and the last is deaths.
Mission points are obtained in different ways depending on which mode you're playing. In body count, mission points are obtained by getting kills, but in C&H they are gained by capturing and defending.

re: Multiplayer Discussion |

Ok so assuming i am playing as a medic, do i have to heal a lot of people to get mission points? What if i am just playing as a soildier. Then im guessing mission points are equal to kills?

re: Multiplayer Discussion |

If you're playing as a soldier then there is no special way to get mission points. You get mission points for kills in Body Count anyway.
