Is it just me, or other games starting to look dull compared to killzone 2. I know I shouldn't compare them as they didn't have as big of a budget and sony backing them with their every whim, but some games just aren't as impressive after seeing killzone 2. Even if they are really fun.

Not at all, other games like Resident Evil 5 and Dead Space still have fantastic graphics. Even if they dont have the raw power that Killzone 2 has.

I still like COD4, but yeah it sees not as good since Killzone was released :s

I understand where Linkin is coming from, i revisited Battlefield Bad Company on my 360 over the weekend and my god did it look dated, it is fair to say the more time i spend on Killzone the more impressed i become. I was always a big 360 guy but Killzone makes me realise my expensive black box was worth the cash. I count myself so lucky i have both consoles but my faith in PS3 has been raised by Killzone.

I just got done playing God of War 1&2...they still look great considering when they came out. They still pale in comparison to Killzone 2, but I can still appreciate the beauty of other games.

Unlikely, as Modern Warfare 1 didn't have necessarily great graphics at the time and there's no reason to think 2 will be a lot better.

Yeah. I just played through Uncharted today and it looked pretty bad compared to Killzone. The cutscenes were still great, but I noticed that a lot of textures took a while to pop in and the water effects weren't that great.
I also played some of Heavenly Sword today, which came out a few years ago and shouldn't be expected to compete, and the cutscenes were fantastic but everything else was super blurry and the character models weren't that great. -------------------  | |
