KZ2 = Fuzzy |
|
I've recently started having problems with KZ2. Not any freezing or anything as my disc is in perfect condition, but rather when I play the game I have fuzz all over my screen (I can still see everything, it's just 20% or 10% less clearer then it should normally be. I'm using a HDMI Cable if that helps, and I'm not sure if it's only KZ2 that this error occurs on or if it happens on other games. But it doesn't happen on the XMB, so...
Any suggestions? ------------------- ![]() The object of war is not to die for your country... but to make your enemies die for theirs.

You know, I think I had a similar problem earlier today. Went into an online game, and at the character screen, I couldnt see the guy, only the available weapons and classes. Then when I actually entered the game, I couldnt see a thing. Was all like, fuzzy, then it went pink and then really dark.
Eventually had to quit as I couldn't see what the hell I was doing, went into another game and it was fine. I've checked the KZ2 disk and its all clean, no dust or anything. Checked the wires at the back and stuff. All fine. Maybe just one of those random things I guess. ------------------- ![]()

I checked if my HDMI Cable wasn't loose or anything, but I'll try disconnecting it in a minute and see if that works. I doubt it's just a random error because it has been doing this for at least two days now.

Make sure the PS3 is set to output in your TV's highest resolution. Otherwise, I can't think of anything.

quote dmf_dynastyWell, I did change the resolution from 1080p HD to 720p, but I think it may have been doing this even before that. ------------------- ![]() The object of war is not to die for your country... but to make your enemies die for theirs.

Are you absolutely sure that all the connections are not loose? That's all I can think of really. :S
quoteThat could be it if your TV is designed to run at 720p.

quote Gazza1Hmm, that's describing how online mode looks all the time for me, because I have to play it on an old, busted CRT. -------------------

re: KZ2 = Fuzzy |
quote SiphonNope, I know for sure it's a 1080p HDTV considering I can play CoD:WaW in 1080p HD, and that it said that when I bought it. I know it's only one KZ2 now, though. I tried to unplug the HDMI cable on both ends and reconnect it but it didn't effect anything. Maybe my save is corrupted or something? ------------------- ![]() The object of war is not to die for your country... but to make your enemies die for theirs.
