My thoughts on the Flash & Thunder Pack |
|
Southern Hills I think this is a good map, good size not too small. But I wish they nuke would go off more frequently it's more exciting if you know what I mean? I find the ISA and Helghast bases too open and too easy to spawn camp.
Beach Head I think this is the better map out of the two purely because it is so chaotic. But I noticed that it is very hard to flank the opposition except a few tunnels and ladders. The water effects are very good and the rain adds to the fun a lot. Also the stealth classes like saboteur and scout don't really get much of a chance. everyone's nearly all the time moving or running. The assault class or the soldier with a LMG is the best for this map. ------------------- | |

Well the first time I was playing Beach Head I was helghast and I won. But you need a lot of structure in Beach Head like squads and putting down spawn grenades before the other team can spawn camp you. I would like the nuke to go off more and the siren to be louder because the only way I know the nuke is going off is if I've just spawned at base(where the siren is at it's loudest) or the screen goes white but by then it's too late.
