Wtf, okay, ive done the chapter 5-3 , 3 times, all difficulties, and still, this trophy is not unlocked. Anyone know why?

I haven't got this but i have a hunch:

There are two ways of removing the gem thingy, with jill on the floor, or in the other partners arms. I'm thinking if you get it while its in the other partners arms you will get the trophy (maybe)....but maybe not.

Nah, ive done it both ways, im sure i have, nothing, there must be a certain way, its starting to annoy me =/

I actually just got it, after the 4th time. Nah i do it offline, and the heart stopper? If your having trouble getting that, you know in 5-3 before you go into that room with jill? Go up the elevator thing instead of sheeva, use the grenade launcher,m but with acid ammo, and shoot one of the dogs, it will choke on its back, giving you chance to stab it ;p

if that actually works... but u actually stab a licker
and u have to work in coop i think, thats how i got it, u both take turns ripping it off her chest

I've got the Masters Of Removing on my dad's profile (he can't button bash) and it was on solo. Done it on my profile (solo) and nothing.

I unlocked the masters of removing while sheva was holding Jill.

So i'm guessing that when your partner is holding Jill rather than removing it when she's on the ground you get the acheivement.

And for heart stopper, all you have to do is wait until a licker shows up, and if he does an attack where you have to press certain buttons to counter attack, you will throw the licker to the ground, quickly run up to it, and attack.

I think you have to do the level without hurting Jill once only shooting the device to get the achievement

I have it. Not sure how exactly I did it though, because I hurt her and not just the heart object. Might just be one of those strange trophies/achievements that takes a while to get even though you're doing it right.

Its what ded valve said, basically only shoot/tear it off while in the other persons hands.
