lol I'm assuming he left out the fact he always plays as one character. Anyways, yeah you can do it solo but if you grab her, the computer shoots the device and throws Jill.(at least in my case) So you have to wait until the computer grabs Jill and then rip it off, only thing you may do is shoot the device to fasten it up, otherwise you have to keep grabbing it repeatedly and countlessly until it comes off. lol After about on Normal 8 pulls we shot it once (me and someone) and ti came off on the 9th after the shot or like 2 after one shot after that. So yeah it takes QUITE awhile, unless you shoot it once or twice. Just be careful not to kill Jill!

and yeah you do NOT get the achievement if you pull on the device if she is on the ground. Co-Op or Solo does not matter. I got mine solo.

Just don't hurt Jill — run after her and hit action and Sheva will keep grabbing her, after about 7+ attempts of removing the red device Chris will totally remove it and a cut-scene where Jill regains consciousness and explains will begin.

For Heart Stopper, just shoot a Licker with a Shotgun and when it is on its back, run up and hit Action to stab it in the heart.

hahaha, well I had one partner recently try to kill Jill so I (if you've read my random quesetion know this already) have a problem with my mic where unless you're on my friend's list I can't hear you and you can't hear me. So what I did was run in front of the laser point and say "wait" "wait" "wait" lol I probably pissed my partner off but it seems everyone wants to kill Jill their first game through. Like wtf! haha It even says we need to get it off her.

You don't get any trophys for levels and other things that you must do in the game when you join a game online. Happen to me all the time. The only ones you get are the ones that has killing in it.

I think that only is a factor if you didn't join the game and finish it form the start. The first chapter you don't get a rank for so maybe thats what it is. (since you joined in the middle) HOWEVER, yesterday this guy and me restarted chapter 6-1 where we left off the day before. We played 6-1 to 6-3 and at the volcano part he got kicked back to the organize screen and me disconnected. So I hit continue from my checkpoint (volcano) and invited him, we restarted it and by the end he had Solider, Recruit, 6-1, 6-2 and 6-3. As well as I was playing with him from like 3-1 to 5-3 the day before and he got them all.

So may just involve the first one you join because you don't get a rank with. Can't verify that for sure.

(though my experience is 360, maybe ps3 differs)

i got the heart stopper trophy by slashing away at the majini in the marsh stage the ones with their heart exposed, and did you accomplish masters of removing trophy in co op?

and what about the who do you trust trophy?

Who do you trust was a pain in the arse for me to get, playing mostly on co-op and my partner never thanked me, even when I said "I just healed you! Thank me now! NOW! Oh its too late nevermind", so I had to get that trophy on single player. Just let the AI heal you a bunch of times and remember to thank them, then it should be yours. If "Go into the light" is the one with the flash grenade, then you need to use one on the spider guys, as flash bangs won't kill regular Majini.

okay guys i thought people might have problems with this but i actually got this in my first go.

The trick is this: Jill was ur partner and therefore, despite her jumping around like a lunatic and sometimes firing weapons at u ur are NOT SUPPOSED to shoot her. If you shoot her, even if ur just aiming for her necklace ur likely to hurt her which will not enable u to get the trophy. Now, my advice would be to first select the easiest mode if u want to obtain this trophy, which makes sense.

Now, in order to get the necklace off jill: Make sure u have ur grenade launcher and a lot of flash grenades. Use ur flash grenades when she is in front of u. These grenades will only stun her not hurt her and it will give u or sheva the chance to restrain her and try and remove the necklace which cannot be done first time, it will take several attempts. If Jill fires at u, resist from shooting back because despite her leaping about and avoiding ur bullets, this is still an attempt to harm her, which, as i said before, will not allow u the trophy. If she shoots at u, just run away or hide until she calms down. On easy mode, she doesn't shoot that often.

During the chaseabout, the game allows u the (square) option which tells u to either calm her down/knock her over/restrain her/remove the necklace. Use all of these options as none of them will harm her. Calm her down when the option flashes up allowing u to do so and also dont be afraid for u or sheva to hit her or pin her down as ur not harming her ur only restraining her. It will take several attempts to remove the necklace so dont worry if u feel u have to shoot her in order to stop her as eventually u will get the necklace off her, it just takes some time. Notice as well how sheva doesnt shoot at her either but only attacks or restrains her. This should give u a clue to how u should do the same. Also, dont rush it either, take ur time and keep reassuring her as the option pops up. There is no time limit and jill is not such a huge threat, shes pretty easy to tackle.

Hope this helps. Also, if ur thinking about getting the secret trophy Bad Blood, u can kill two birds with one stone.

When fighting Wesker at the same time as jill he gives u a clue as to how long he will stay and "play" with u - 7 minutes. If u want this trophy which means u harmed him a great deal during the fight, heres what u do:

Ensure u have a rocket launcher in ur inventory and a grenade launcher with explosive rounds. If u cant afford a rocket launcher, just make sure u have lots and lots of explosive rounds instead.

Fool wesker into a little game of run and chase by going upstairs and hiding down the secret corridors, he will follow u, but remember, u only have several minutes so dont play about too much. As u hide round a corner, he will say things like "ur only delaying the inevitable" etc this is ur clue to Wesker is gettin agitated cos he doesn't know wher u are. when u see him approaching, stay against a wall, not giving ur guard away and make sure sheva is near u. Shoot at him with the RPG. He will grab it so quickly equip ur grenade launcher and fire lots of grenades at him. If u dont have an RPG, just use ur grenade launcher. If he starts dodging after a while, this is ur clue to run and hide again until he comes looking for u again. Eventually, he will follow and again repeat the same process. When u have cause enough damage, Wesker will fall to his knees and the trophy should pop right up. After this, he will leave, leaving u to deal with jill. Hope this helps u guys any problems just ask.
