What sort of times am I looking at for each level to complete the game in under 5 hours?

I have already competed the games and replayed different levels on different difficulties, however I anybody could advise what sort of times I am looking towards for each level I can pick the levels I can cut the most time from and concentrate on those.

K ill give you a clue. grab infinite ammo magnum and run through the game just blasting everything possible dont pick anything up just keep going forward blasting youll get the time down to 5 hours no problem.

Just play through since you can shave alot of time off every level.

I picked up everything, took my time, and finished easily in less than 5 hours.

our first time through (on amateur), we went everywhere, did everything, shot all the BSAA emblems, watched all the cutscenes, and took a long time to figure out how to do certain fights. we only missed it by half an hour.

once we figured out how to beat the second-last (non-cutscene) fight with the final boss, on the ship deck, we literally shaved that entire half hour off that fight alone.

when we went back and tried to do things quickly and accurately for S rankings for the figurine, and skipped all the cutscenes, we literally cut that time in half. the game can be done in two and half hours, without too much problem. 5 is an easy target once you know what you're doing and have a few upgrades/infinite ammo.

Indeed, you are all correct, it is really quite easy, I wandered through the rest of the levels I hadn't done on amateur and managed to complete the game in 3:40, sorted.

I only have one more level to complete on Veteran (the one in the Humvee, can't remember the level no) but haven't cracked it so far, I thing I need to do a co-op as I don't think Sheva is up to it (thats right blame the computer!!!)

I am on chapter 5.3 pro mode and really struggling. Breezed through all levels apart from 2.3 (Ndesu) but have come unstuck in trying to get the plate from Jill's chest. Did it once but got an A rank and 7 deaths.

Beat all levels on Pro Mode with S Ranks apart from Chapter 2-3. Can anyone help me beat Ndesu and get my last S rank?

You mean magnum? There are three types of magnum in this game. The first one (SW29) can be picked up in chapter 3-3 in the village. The 2nd one (Lightning Hawk) can be picked up in chapter 5-3 inside one of the hidden rooms. The 3rd one (SW500 aka handcannon) only becomes buyable after you upgrade SW29 to maximum. You can also buy either of the first two magnums after you beat those chapters.

Actually the first magnum is in 3-1

I thought that I would post the times I currently have for completing Amateur, I know these times aren't the fastest possible as I wasn't going for that, however it will give people times to aim for.

just beat it once....get inf handcannon..then do the chapters you got 30 mins plus down to like 8 mins...i did the last one in 7 minutes...easily on pro!
