Divine Tips Needed! |
|
Ok so im good at this game but i suck majorly at online. The reason i said divine is because you guys will have to give me godly power to lift my performance
I normally die about three times the amount of kills i get, and im always on the losing team (that doesn't matter that much though). If there are 10 people playing i come 8 or below. Here are some of my problems: -In a 1 on 1 carbine firefight i always lose, for some reason i can't get my reticule onto them long enough, and somehow the other person just kills me in 5 seconds, is there some sort of trick? -Snipers. When in open maps i always have trouble with these guys. If i get hit by a sniper (lose half my health) i normally sprint 90 degrees from them (there fore harder to hit me) and i jump and stuff until i get to cover. But that never happens, they always hit me. What do i do when a sniper is aiming for me, and how the hell do they have such good aim??? -Weapons. Apart from the LAARK i normally use a bullseye or fareye alot. What are the pros/cons of weapons for you and against you? Im probably asking too much especially since its an old game, thanks in advance. ------------------- You can take games out of my life, but you can't take my life out of games.

Well always press L1 or whatever it is to aim with the Carbine if your at any significant range, and aiming at least a few shots at the head definitely helps, most of the time you die quickly because their headshotting you, the only way to do it easily is experience. Not running makes you not show up on radar, which can give you the element of surprise and can help.
With the fareye you start to know the popular sniper locations after a while, and that helps you avoid places where you can get shot, as well as flank them and get easy kills. If you are in the line of fire don't go 90 degrees (I assume that means to the left and right of them?) but either find some cover quickly or be erratic, make small sudden jerky movements, jump, crouch, move fast then slow, then fast again. If you move one direction constantly they can anticipate you. Weapons Carbine -easy to get, constant rate of fire, good accuracy, 40's one hit kills -Not good at long range, takes a few seconds to kill Bullseye -Fast rate of fire, lots of ammo, common, tags -Sucks at any decent range, if tag misses gives your opponent big opportunity to counter Shotgun -Can be deadly at close range, can catch people off guard, good for stealthy attacks -Bad damage and poor rate of fire at anything other than point blank, do not use unless in close quarters, and even then consider other options Augur -Good damage, good for surprise attacks/stopping them from finding cover, great defensive abilities -Slow and can easily be avoided at long distances, shields can easily be outmaneuvered or impede allies Fareye -takes off half health with each shot, extremely good at long range, use on long flat planes, so you don't have to aim up and down too much -takes a while to switch weapons after a shot due to slow reload, useless without using scope and difficult at close range Arc Charger -Incrediable rate of fire which can empty its entire barrel in a second with rapid taps, R1 followed by R2 can quickly decimate groups of enemies -Takes a long time to cool down if overheated, short range Dragon -R2 fully charged can kill in a single hit, helps cut off enemy movement, works great against Chimera as they suffer extra heat damage. -short range, primary fire damage is pitiful unless used on Chimera LAARK -decent blast radius, instant kill if within killzone, secondary fire great for flushing out enemies hiding in buildings or behind cover, -Rare, long reload, prepare for bagging if you use this, it is considered a noob weapon Feel free to ask more questions if you want, always happy to help out another Resistance player. Thanks alot its sure gonna help.
quote Silver MirrorI laughed loud at this. I still get owned when i have a LAARK in my hands....sometimes. In all honesty its mostly firefights that get me frustrated. I'll try out the headshot thing with the carbine and stuff, but im still sticking to my fareye when i can (my best weapon by far online). Its the only thing that actually helps me get kills. Thanks alot! ------------------- You can take games out of my life, but you can't take my life out of games.

Hey its not just you, I always end up stuffing up with a LAARK. Winning a firefight will be tough, only the very hardcore have stayed with Resistance for this long and have been playing for years, even if their rank is low they might have created previous accounts.
Anything more specific you want to ask? -------------------

Hmmm...
Is the arc charger and dragon actually useful in some circumstances? I never use them. ------------------- You can take games out of my life, but you can't take my life out of games.

Sorry for the late reply, been busy lately.
Anyway lets see, under the right circumstances both can be very good yes, though the Arc Charger more so than the Dragon. The best guys with Dragons can do things you wouldn't believe, I once saw a clan tear another team twice their size to shreds using them. I wouldn't suggest you use it too much yourself though, use the primary fire on Chimera when in close quarters and the secondary fully charged to gain a instant kill here and there. The Arc Charger is much more useful and easier to use in my opinion, basically if your facing a single opponent just charge up to them and tap Primary fire as much as you can, its got short range but you can easily fry an opponent a second flat if the bursts hit. Secondary fire is for when facing a group of people, you see the damage arcs and can damage many people at a time. I once saw a guy get 8 kills all at once with an Arc Charger, using Primary fire on someone and then Secondary makes it arc even more, the primary fire attaches a charge to someone when you hit them with it you see, making the Secondary fire work better when it hits them. So basically in short range and under the right circumstances they can be very useful. I would focus on the Arc Charger if I were to recommend one, its really not hard to use and can be very deadly, just give it a match or two to try it out. -------------------
