System Defined Actions (Read) |
|
I am a huge online gamer. Coming from experience in popular Xbox Live games such as Halo 2, Gears of War, etc. If anyone has played a Live-enable FPS you are all familiar with t-bagging. I play Resistance online alot, but I've noticed literally no one does it. I guess there's a difference in the types of players in Live and PSN.
T-bagging is easily one of the most done actions in online games, and I am the only one in a game that ever does it. Your thoughts? ------------------- ![]() quote Woudo

Might find because the average Playstation 3 owner is between 18 and 35 years of age, most of them just want a mature online game with mature adults... Xbox 360 because of price appeals to everyone so like the majority of gamers will probably be below 18 years old just like on the Wii, so you will be more inclined to find immature antics on Xbox Live than you will on the Playstation Network.

As far as i am aware it is the act of basically constantly pressing crouch over your victims corpse, a way of taunting though in my opinion it is highly immature and i don't tolerate it in games i host from time to time online.

T-Bagging is just an act of the opposing player being jealous for either a specific or no reason at all. T bagging is just stupid. If you play gears of war, then you'll know what I mean..

I actually did it a bunch of times to one player, but thats because I confused online to offline...apparently, there is a skill point in the main game where you have to crouch over a chimera X amount of times...But I thought it was an online medal or something...
So yeah, gotta remember to do the crouch thing over a chimera in the main story ^_^;; -------------------

I agree, every person with a headset I've played with was at least 17.

I think part of the reason it isn't done is because you simply don't get time. The moment you kill someone (at least in Deathmatch or Team Deathmatch) there's someone else around the corner. It's just impractical, though maturity definitely comes into play as well.

I've been t-bagged once - but I only caught a glipse of the guy crouching once. For all I knew, he was crouching to avoid enemy fire.
That's the very reason I don't do it. There's absolutely no time before the camera shoots to where your next respawn area is. I just figure if I'm going to make myself more vulnerable and t-bag someone, it's best if they actually see it. So I don't waste my time. -------------------

There's never enough time to tea-Bag
But on games like Gears & Halo there's loads of time to get in a good 'bagging - maybe even a quick rape -------------------

Hahaha that reminds me of going to my girl friend's house and playing Halo with her younger sister. At first, I was letting her win because... Well, that's what you do with little kids.
But then I hadn't killed her once in like a million years, so I kicked it up a notch; but so did she. Long story short, she pwned me. -------------------

quote Mister IvanovichI wouldn't 'let' a kid win, maybe play a bit more casually, but I don't 'let' people win... Why? Because of my personality, thats why -_- That, and because my brother is a arsehole (yes, he is only 11, but he acts less mature then some 4 year olds I've met -_-)... He is one of THOSE types of kids...you know, he says BS like "You're CHEATING" (yeah, because apparently, if he can't win against me every time, I MUST be cheating)...He is insufferable, AND he cries over anything, so he pisses me off (Imagine enduring that crap for 5 years, having it get steadily worse), and explain he shouldn't expect to win. That girl you mentioned, is cool ^_~ -------------------
