Well, after discovering from other forums how enjoyable general discussions can be, I decided there was a necessity to start one in the excite truck forum. I hope to start some exciting trucking converstations/thoughts/ideas !

I don't think you are aloud to create General Discussion threads unless you have the Mods permission. Anyway, the forum is not lively enough for a General Discussion thread because GD threads only occur if the forum is very busy and if there is a moderator moderating that forum.

I just can't make it busy myself, everyone needs to chip in and do their piece, my favourite truck is the Alpine because it has good Air and it's a very balanced truck. What's yours?

I like to be active, especially since I LOVE EXCITE TRUCK! I would marry excite truck if it were a person.

the only thing i really like about it was that you could play music from SD transfer. I'll try to find some pointers on actually being good at the game cause my little nephew always dominates me =[

AWH lmfao thats okay! Practice makes perfect! Here are some tips I have:

-only steer the wiimote a little bit at a time, so you do not overturn the car, and waste time going to the side off the track (turning down the sensitivity of your wiimote can help!)
-Take your time to get the stars, and dont rush unless coming in 1st is necessary for a win. Earning stars is more important than coming in 1st place!
-only use turbo in small amounts! Overheating can cause you to be unable to do many trucks, and it prevents you from going fast! I completed many levels just by using turbo at the jump, because it allowed me to get enough stars to win! Definitely always use a turbo jump, because major air means major stars
-Stay focused! Try not to get too nervous about trying to hit the target you want, because then without knowing, your nerves get to you, and often move the wiimote so you are unable to get the target. I know that from experience
-STAY ON TRACK!Although tree runs can be major stars, try to avoid them unless you are experienced. Often going off track means getting a crash , which slows you down, and may cause you to miss a jump. Also , when you're off track you often miss major things that can get you stars (i.e. a jump, rings, etc.)
-Practice and have fun! Like I said earlier, be relaxed, becaues when you're tense you may turn the wiimote too much and cause your car to wobble and miss what your aiming at
