Good point.
But I would rather not wait. -------------------

Why not? The Wii will be more defective than ANY console that has previously launched. I can tell you that right now, because there are so many things that can possibly happen.

quote guticbBecause I have been waiting for Zelda: Twilight Princess for over three years now, and I don't want to wait any longer then I have to. Plus, playing games like Red Steel and Far Cry will work out so great on the Wii. (Aiming at the screen, using the B trigger to shoot, swinging the wii-mote to swing your sword, etc.) quoteNintendo knows what they are doing. They won't just rush the Wii onto the market if there are noticeable defects. *coughmicrosoftcough* -------------------

quoteSo you're saying that not a SINGLE Wii will break down, when there's more things that could go wrong with it than any other console?

Since Microsoft is busy fixing their damn bugs, I think the Wii has a better chance of survivng the market at launch. Nintendo knows what they're doing, as twilightprince said. This is their most enhanced console yet and I doubt they want the first wave to go to waste.

re: Reserving Red Steel |
quote guticbHe's saying that Nintendo has fixed the bugs that could occur. And also, I can see other systems braking down more then the Wii. The Xbox, for example, is more of a computer then anything else. One installs modpacks all the way to internet. It seems like way more could go wrong with this system to me. To expand my theory, the Gamecube was the strongest of the three systems. ------------------- ![]()

quote guticbWhat? Nintendo nearly always makes the best quality, and the Gamecube was by far the least error-ridden console of the 6th generation. Why, even my NES still works perfectly. ------------------- ![]()

To get back on topic, i don't think i would like to wait for the wii... if i could help in. the problem with my theory is... well, i don't think i will save up the cash by then... so i will have to wait for awhile. Hopefully Nintendo will be smart and ship a new batch a few weeks after the first wave, unlike Microsoft, with their "one every few months" policy.

quote Tainted I doubt the Wii will break down at all unless you play football with it. In my experience all my Nintendo consoles still work perfectly well as far as my Super Nintendo. -------------------

My SNES works perfectly still too. I love that little box.:
In fact, most of or all of my consoles work perfectly. I'm almost finished with my payments on Red Steel and Zelda. Just another twenty on each game and they'll be mine. ------------------- Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

My stores in Australia still won't let us reserve any Wii games (though we can reserve the system), but hopefully after Leipzig this changes.

I've heard that word a couple of times now (Actually, I believe it was you both times) and have no clue what it means.
What is 'Leipzig'? ------------------- ![]()

I see. I just found the thread about it in the Wii forum. Any expectancies?
I'm hoping for a release date (as, I'm sure, all of you are). ------------------- ![]()

Most people are thinking the release date and price at Leipzig, but this hasn't been confirmed, and may just be wishful thinking.
