Thats why I hope that Ubisoft payed the most attention to this game more than other games. The other titles can suck, this one can't.

I doubt it will. The trailers have been good. The screenshots have been good and the hype has been good also. It will be a surprise if it fell short of anything but a great game.

Red Steel is important because it's one of the main titles for Wii, and if it sells well, other 3rd parties will take notice and make more games for Wii. If it doesn't sell well, then it could actually hurt the system.

Agreed. To put it simply, Ubi soft need to make a good impression to the gaming public and Red Steel is their chance to do it. They already have high expectations and will hopefully deliver. I think I summed that up fairly well.

Agreed. Although Ubisoft is a VERY trustworthy company, would you want a third-party company possibly holding your future? It does seem like a bit of a risk if you ask me.

It is a risk but Ubi soft have been giving Nintendo many quality titles since N64 (I think) so they're trust worthy.

Also even in the highly unlikely chance that Red Steel does fail, Metroid Prime 3 is another back up which will most certainly not fail.

So either way, the Wii's FPS future is looking promising.

Red Steel isn't the decider for whether the Wii succeeds or not, but if it does sell well, I'm certain a lot more companies will jump on board the Wiitrain.

Maybe. But don't forget Oblivion and Twilight Princess.

Dropping it on the carpet wont do anything. I've dropped BOTH of my PS2 controllers countless times, yet they still work perfectly.

You mean best exclusive game for Wii?

I think MP3 has the best chance of being the best exclusive launch game, just because it's part of a critically acclaimed series.

POP WW and TT didn't sell as well as SOT.
