I let the opponents live so I can receive repsect points. So, I can learn more sword moves and recieve new better guns.

I killed the ones that annoyed me the most. I spared most of them for the respect points. After I maxed out my respect points, though, I spared no one.

I smashed all of them, but if you look at my 'red steel ruined my life' topic you'll see that I was somewhat bitter towards the swordfights cus I was a miserable arsehole, they werent always hard, but after a character tried to KILL you, the least you can do back is give him a good crack round the swede with the handle of your samurai sword. Respect points? Think not matey, eat steel you fart!

Same, killed them if i was annoyed, but mostly spared them for respect points. got Grand Master (10)
