My mom hates gta series. SHe thinks its cause of kids killing them selves and what not. But after a while, she let me rent the game. And when it comes out i will have it rented from gamefly. NOW the hard part. How do I play the game, and not do any bad things? Ive played gta games at friends houses and it seems i can just skip the cutscenes and not do the killing misions.(of coure i will do SP when she is not around)
But is there a way to turn off, or down the talking so there are no F bombs while i walk around the city. How will i make it less violent when i play? I told her i would just drive around cars and bikes and planes, but of course she might catch me in a get away chase and see me shooting people. ANNNYYYWAAY how do i convince her to let me buy the game/play it. im sure some people on the forum have the same problem. SO please help me, and other kids of america! Im 14 btw;) | |

There will probably be an option to turn off gore. And having police in the game is good, because it means there is consequence for your actions.
Or simply tell your mother to stop being an oppressive and ignorant whore. | |

The problem is, even if you do get it, you'll still have to make sure you don't do anything bad whenever you're playing it.

GTA has never had an option to turn down its content and I doubt it will have one now. The violence and what not is just how the game is. The only suggestion I can offer you is that if you are allowed to watch violent movies or have any other violent games just tell her that it's not really any worse than that. If you don't have other violent games or aren't allowed to watch R movies, then there's not much you can do.
