Tried not to read track names when I saw it appear on one of the portal newssites earlier today. I think it's more fun to just turn over a station and go "OMG I KNOW THIS" than know ahead of time exactly what's ingame.

I liked Emotion and KDST the best. Emotion not just because of the music, but because of Fernando Martinez. That guy is my hero. I hope they brought him back in GTA4.
And Holy crap. According to IGN's review there's over 200 songs on the soundtrack. The soundtrack as we knew it was only the tip of the ice burg.  ------------------- | |

There's loads of different types of music it's great, there's even 2 stations that have the sort of music I like. And since it's all contemporary it's great.
It seems to be orientated towards rap and what i would refer to as 'rock' but I don't know what the differences are between different types of electric guitar based musics so I stick to whatever sounds good. | |
