Hey guys. I'm sure you all know the drill with RFS threads by now. Use this thread to make suggestions about how you think the forum should be improved.

Personally I think we need a new header. Anyone else agree or do you all like the current one?

If you have a suggestion you'd like to make directly to me, feel free to PM me if you don't want to post it in public for whatever reason. This goes for any matters you want to talk about too, not just regarding the forum's RFS.

In regards to the header, I like it. I think there was a competition not too long back and the current one won, but obviously it's your call.

This forum struggles activity wise in comparison to its PS3 counterpart. Neoseeker's always got some great activity from GTA traffic, so it might be an idea to let the guests make threads and post replies now there's a moderator, or at least let them reply to existing threads, before the game hits the streets next week. You can always change it back later if it doesn't work out, but a lot of people will want to ask questions and many won't be bothered with registering to do so.

Thanks Kuduros. Never thought of that. =P I've allowed both for now, but like you say, if it gets too much for the place we can limit it to replies or no guesting altogether again.

One of the things I've always put on the header or footer when moderating multiplatform games is put links to the forums of other versions of the game. PS3 link would help. Especially when I am looking for general GTA info that I can find in either forum.

For now I've just been jumping into the Social forum and then using the jump bar which changes to let you into the PS3 forum. :fat:

I'm too lazy for that though! >.>

Echoing Kuduros' post, we really need to get the forum activity up. Perhaps some sort of novelty, such as a forum header and footer competition, would help?

IIRC, there was just a header contest a month, month and a half back. Current header looks pretty good if I'm honest, but of course, it's down to Shanbo if he wishes to add a change to the forum.

I agree with Kuduros. Guests can sometimes make some good posts and topics, but they can also be annoying. It's best to let guests posts to gain traffic and start thinking about getting a little competition with the PS3 traffic wise.

I'm seeing a lot of oldies in here, sweet. And congrats on the position Shane, even though you said you were getting the PS3 version at launch. Does this change anything?

I am just hoping it can somewhat match the community of the GTA3 days. Returning of old members will help for sure.

Yeah a lot of the original GTA3(PS2) and GTA:VC(PS2) regulars gathering in the GTA4 360 forum. Any other reason the 360 and PS3 versions would be better than each other is arguable, but here on Neoseeker in particular, the reuniting of Neoseeker's original GTA regulars in itself instantly makes the 360 version the superior one. All other arguments - irrelevant.

i just wanna be able to be the info guru like i was before this thread had a moderator, everything else is great... just keep up the tradition of a smooth GTA forum!
