	I like Niko, but I have to give my all time favorite GTA protagonist to Tommy Vercetti...Ray Liotta was an incredible choice for voice actor in that game. He just fit so perfectly into the whole vibe of the game. I really like Niko alot up to this point, but if we are talking favorites, I have to give him second best. ------------------- Shadow hide you.

The thing about the way they talk (and I think this is how they see it as well) is that you have to take in as much words as are made clear, then decipher how that forms a sentence because most of the time about half of the words are being ad-libbed, hence the term 'broken english'. 	Why must all the actors sound horrible with english and russian? I was born in russia. only moved away at around 11 years old. But my russian doesn't sound like that at all. When Niko speaks in russian - he sounds exactly like: when he's speaking in english. Like it's his second language and he never tried to speak it properly. My mother is exactly the same. only with english. she sounds like a mix of german and robot. - like "a" and "the" dont even exist. lol and also says "hooligan action" - thats so damn funny. my mother. - her russian is 100% tho

For example Niko's surname, Bellic, is pronounced bellich and this other character Petrovic is also pronounce petrovich and yet every character in the game including Niko himself gets the name pronounciations wrong. It's how it's pronounced in eastern european countries so I don't get why they made that mistake. And for the record isn't Niko Croatian?

	I just watched the introduction to "Museum Piece" and it's the first time that I've seen Niko is pushed over the edge. He's been annoyed before but usually he just makes genuinely funny jokes to cover it up. Very cool to see yet another side of him! -------------------

	I really like Niko, enough that he's overtaken Tommy Vercetti as my favourite GTA character. He has so much depth, and he has quite a varying personality. He isn't just some badass who wan't to shoot everything he sees, he has feelings, and he shows them too. ------------------- September 12, 2008
