I've never played any of the GTA series and was wondering if the game was truly worth the purchase. I've been back and forth all morning and wanted some feedback. I'm concerned about the subpar graphics (from what I can tell). Please advise.

In a word, YES! Check out some of the reviews here and if you're still not convinced after that then you probably never will be!

Dunno where you got subpar graphics from. IMO this is one of the most visually stunning games I've ever played. Take a helicopter through the city in the night and you'll see why.

Don't get the game.

People say that the graphics are not good enough but they are far from being correct. The graphics are perfect and I would certainly say the game is worth the 60 bucks. Definetely get it, I dont even realize how much time has past when I play it, before I know it its 2 AM and I started at like 8 or 9.

Saints Rockstar sounds better haha. Maybe they'll get together and make the ULTAMIT game of all time. So Graphic and real it will be banned on earth and the moon.

Both games rock and this game rocks if you don't get it your 360 will commit suicide from boredom.

Um...yes, it it worth it. I don;t know why people whine about the graphics, I think they're pretty damn good. Not the best, but definitely not bad. All I can really tell you about the game other than what you've probably already seen online is that it's pretty much impossible to get bored. I've been playing this game for hours and hours and have just now gotten to 19%. I've done all the side missions to my knowledge on the first island and am about to begin the second. I haven't even touched things in the game like the most wanted missions yet and I've barely done any email missions. While not doing missions, contact throughout the city called Niko and I went out and did something fun with them. If I wasn't doing any of that, I still had a blast just driving around or causing a ruckus (particularly in the rain). Seriously, the rain in this game is amazing. It doesn't just pour down. When the wind blows, there is freakin' mist in the air. Water gathers on the roads and sidewalks and makes it harder to drive. It looks like you're really driving in a downpour. It's amazing.

In my earlier post, i was saying *bleep* off to him saying gta has subpar graphics.

On my TV and to my eyes the graphics are *bleep*ing amazing, almost on the level of assassins creed

the graphics are great yes. but i just fell san andreas had more things to do like gamble,mod cars, buy safe houses, etc. you get the point. i was also hoping to get a big manchine in the end but all i got was an apartment(i havent finished the game but someone says all you get are apartments). This game was good but rockstar could of done a lot better.

I can't believe you even asked that question - even if you haven't tried any of the games. In short; yes.. buy it, it's a fantastic game, I know you will love it.

Its the best game on XBOX 360 that I have played so fare.
