re: r3 missions........

In the police car you access the computer and do the vigilante missions from there. I haven been in a ambulance so i don't know about if there are any missions there?

re: r3 missions........

There are vigilante missions, but they come two forms. There's Most Wanted missions, where you hunt down criminals from a list of the cities most wanted. And there's the Current Crime missions, where you try to resolve a crime happening at the moment (such as car theft or a robbery). Both modes are started via the police computer, which you can access by pressing LB while in a stationary police car. You'll be introduced to this in a certain mission.

There are taxi missions, but they're not accessed via a taxi itself. Roman will offer you delivery jobs with his taxi company, which basically work the same way as the old taxi missions from the other games (you get a target, and you need to deliver them to their destination).

There are no ambulance missions.

BTW, you don't unlock police vigilante missions until a certain point in the storyline.

re: r3 missions........

Ambulance missions were always tedious freaking BS anyway. If it werent for that unlimited sprint, I NEVER would have sat through hours of driving around that Goddamn bathtub on wheels all the way up to lvl 12 only to have my ambulance roll over or catch fire when Im on my last damn set of patients.

Might have been ok if you didnt have to do them all in a row, but when you have to do all 12 levels consecutively with ONE ambulace that cant be repaired outside of using a cheat, its a freaking annoying side part of the game.

Dont miss em a bit.

Vigilante missions were always a big bunch of BS also. In GTA 3 you had to have a damn tank to do them, similar as well in VC and SA using the attack helicopter to wipe them all out. Trying to do them on the ground, in one police car that cant be repaired, once again without cheating, its just annoying as hell.

At least the cop stuff is fun in this game. You can pick what you want to respond to, usually get pretty decent weapons out of the deal, and then stop whenever you want.

The only side thing i ever liked in GTA was the rampages. Kill a set amount of people with one weapon type under the time limit. I do miss those. Ambulance, vigilante, Fire truck, Pizza boy BS, I dont miss any of that crap.
