I was thinking of selling my copy of GTA 4, so I could by Shivering Isles, and I was wondering how much I'd get for it in Gamestation UK? And would CEX give me more or less than them?

Bring your copy to Gamestation and ask them how much you'll get for it first. You dont' have to trade it in just because you bring it in

Cex will generally give more than Gamestation or Game, as Game are thieving bastards when it comes to trade ins. Personally, I'd sell it on eBay cos the likelihood is you'll get more than the trade in value, but if it's a straight choice, I'd go for Cex.

Right guys. I'm gonna use CEX, but I was wondering...
I'm 14 years old, and I have a copy of GTA 4, if I take GTA 4 into CEX on my own, will they let me exchange it for Shivering Isles?

CEX buy the game for £16, it says so on their website (www.cex.co.uk). I have no idea what Gamestation buy it for but £16 seems reasonable. I know that years ago I tried to sell GTA3 and they wouldn't let me because I was under 18. Obviously it won't apply everywhere, some places are lenient and won't really care. You can just get one of your parents to sell it for you if that fails anyway.

Yeah, I'm in Town on Saturday, I'll try and get an exchange from it. Do you reckon they'll let me exchange? I think a parent needs to be there when getting cash...

Yeah, you have to be 18 years old and have an adult membership to get cash back. They'll give you a voucher that you can only spend there, and it should be more than £16, it's always more than the cash you'd get.

I use CEX its pretty good for trade ins, Game is terrible !
You can sign up to CEX and get a little membership card.
Or you could exchange it you will get a bit more .probably around £20 Worth of exchanging

Yeah, you'll be fine exchanging. Not sure if they'll let you trade that game in, though.

I went into CEX and Gamestation today.
CEX had Shivering Isles, but I have to be 15 to get it. Sooo, I'm just going to drag my Dad to town on Monday and get rid of GTA 4, and get SI.

Gamestation however, offered me £8 exchange, or £4 in cash...
Sooooo, I think that I might just choose the £20 and go in on Monday. =]]

They offered you 4 pound cash for gta 4 ?
I traded my gta in at HMV (they finally do trade ins) and they are good i got 15 for gta and 20 for cod5
