Most interesting characters. |
|
Which characters did you find to be the most interesting? For me, I'd say Niko and Ray Boccino.
I think Niko's interesting because he's just like this immigrant who's trying to make it big in America and live the dream. You don't really know too much about his origin either so he's kind of anonymous. I liked how the creators of this game dressed him too. When he came to Liberty City, he was wearing cheap clothes hinting that he didn't have a lot of money. I also liked how his character was ready for any task. His combat experience in Eastern Europe probably conditioned him. I thought Ray was interesting too because he wasn't a typical overweight mobster with a pin strip suit and cigars. He was just an aging mobster who knew times were changing. He knew that the mob didn't have the influence it had back in the 1950s-60s time frame and just did what he could to make it. I liked how the creators dressed him up in a sports coat instead of one of those old fashioned suits; I thought that was creative. I liked his character too because he never knew who he could trust, that's always occurring in the mafia.

Oh, there's a lot that go in this list for me.
1.Roman-Gave the game the comic relief that was desperatly needed to give us the old GTA feel of the story. 2.Little Jacob-This guy was awesome, helpful, and he also gave the game comic relief with his accent. 3.Badman-Even though I didn't understand a single word he said(even when I had the subtitles on) he cracked me up. 4.Mikhail Faustan-I hated this guy but he was a pretty cool guy and very fun to kill. 5.Brucie-Also gave the game comic relief, I like it that he takes you out on boat rides and helicopter rides when you hang out with him. 6.Packie-He was awesome, nuff' said. 7.Elizabeta-The MOST interesting person in the game in my opinion, I like her manly attitude and she's definitely not like most women, that's for sure. ------------------- ![]()

Oh yea, how could I forget Little Jacob? I liked him a lot too. He was pretty cool and is always loyal to Niko. I liked buying guns off him too, he's got everything!
Packie turned out to be alright too. I hated him in the beginning though because he wasn't respectful of his family and others.

I loved Dwayne. Maybe it's just me missing SA, but he had a decent backstory and all that, and wasn't just a douche like Playboy.

Yeah, Dwayne gave me memories of life in SA with CJ. But he just got on my tits too much in the end.

quote DaveyPoshboyOh yeah. Playboy's "1992" reference about Dwayne made me wonder whether he knew CJ or not, seeing that was the time-line for San Andreas, haha. Anyway, Dwayne and Little Jacob definitely. They're the truest friends Niko has, especially LJ. I also liked Playboy X, mainly because of his swagger. For comic relief, I loved Brucie. ------------------- ![]() 22/7/0

Dimitri and Faustin are the two the come to my mind.
I'd kill to see what life was like for them before Arriving in Liberty City, and their rise into the Russian Mafiya. I's also wanna see the "things" that got to Mikhail to made him the way he was later on, and if Dimitri was ever truly loyal to him in the first place, despite being "Best Friends." ------------------- ![]() ![]()

Mikhail Faustan. That man spoke more truer words than anybody in the game.
(Spoilers) He told you Dimitri would betray you, he told you he would turn his back on you for money. Everyone who told him to be calm, he asked "where would we be if I was calm?" Well, certainly not where hes ended up. Rich, in a big house, wife and daughter (even if he DOES treat them like shit) As he said, Dimitri would have ended up a prison bitch queen. Mikhail would probably be dead if he was calm. He will shoot anyone he wishes, without fear of consequences. When he was taken out, he simply backed up and said "You have got me cornered, I have no where to go!" He was right all along, Niko didn't listen to him. Oh and, I personally think his voice was badass. A voice like that will intimidate the shit out of anybody IMO.
