I'm curious to know if this game is any good. I've seen an interview with Tony Hawk endorsing the game saying how much of an innovation it was in the skate genre.

Sounds to me like a pathetic excuse to use the Wii controller...what happened to Project 8?

i started playing this last night, and i'm enjoying it.
it takes a little while to get used to the controls, but it's very playable.
its got a good sound track, and seemingly lots of things to unlock.
it's very much like SSX, so if you liked that you'd probably enjoy this.

THANK GOD because I really didnt like American Wastelands...

I thinks this game is fun. The last TOny Hawk game I got was Underground so I don't know how it compares to more recent ones... I like the way it uses motion sensetive controlls and I like the character intervies in career mode.

BTW - if you want to skip the annoying bits at the start of each race (where the various characters are talking) just press +

I really hated the AW soundtrack it made me tired!

Started playing this game today and it is very good. It really is SSX but with skateboards but made better with the Wii Remote enabling a whole new way to move which is great. Only downside is there doesn't seem to be much of a story to it, no feeling of acomplishment which SSX gives, letting you make your riders stats better and buying boards instead of being given them on Tony Hawk's.

Overall it's a good game worth a play at least.
