They are purposely including a simple game like this to show the many different uses of the Wiimote, so it won't be that deep of a game. While WarioWare would have been great for this too, that is something they can actually sell and make a profit, whereas I doubt as many people would pay $50 for Wii Sports.

@_@ You didn't know Wii-sports is a test game? It's just to test out the ways you can use your Wii-mote. And I guess a multiplayer game to start out with since the Wii is suppoused to be a family game system.

Wii Sports is meant to be a simple pack-in game that showcases the capabilities of the Wii remote.

Actually, you are wrong. Baseball will have an option of playing either a 3 inning, 6 inning, or a 9 inning game. It's not just seeing how far you could hit the ball. There's actually pitching in this game as well.

Tennis will feature full sets and matches. Bowling will feature full 10 frame games. Golf will feature different courses. And boxing is pretty much boxing.

Every game is multiplayer compatible as well. Getting 5 full sports for free with every console sounds pretty good to me.

I would rather have this packaged with the Wii than nothing

This game is my new exercise program! It can get your heart going if you get into it, which I do cause it makes it more fun! I played it for 1 hour and 38 minutes and got a good workout

I was sweating while playing boxing.

I love the game, though I would have loved more complete things in it, such as the option to control players in tennis; have singles play; etc. They could have easily added the nunchuk to tennis to allow us to control ourselves. Maybe this will be added to future sports games.

you guys\girls need to quit complaning. Wii sports is just a turorial to get people familiar with the Wii-mote. It is not ment to be a full game. Its like judging metroid prime hunters (the demo) like an actual game. Its just to tide over poor gamers till they can get Twilight Princess.

After getting this game, I must say it is MUCH better then I thought it was. I must say it doesen't get old like I thought would, and Nintendude, I started this thread before the game came out, and I'm not complaining anymore.
