Teacher's question |
|
Today my English teacher said that with the Nintendo Wii virtual reality is moving closer to reality. He also asked a tennis girl in my class if playing Wii Tennis could improve her backhand and asked "why not take it a step further; grab a racket, go out, and play real tennis." Well, I have some answers to his question here:
1.In real life, you don't get hit with a tennis ball. 2.The Wiimote is easier to swing than a real tennis racket. 3.You don't have to deal with recoil from the ball. 4.It's more lucrative for Nintendo. 5.You can't set the tennis girls to "easy" in real life. 6.You can't play as Mario 7.People get madder when you cheat. 8.The cheats aren't as cool. 9.Why play GTA when you can go out and jack a real car? Well, that is kind of dumb. Does your teacher think that we should grab a gun and kill everyone instead of doing it in a game? And how about, Um, hello; it's Winter. No tennis, and, of course, real life tennis is hard.
P.S. Handicapped people can easily play this game. So I have this to say to your teacher.... -------------------

Not everyone has a nearby tennis court. The Wii isnt so phisically taxing therefore you can play longer yet still get an excellent workout. You won't lose balls like crazy. You don't have to waste gas getting to and from a court. Need i go on? Crazy teachers.

Dude, shut up. You spell like a 5 year old.
Yu-gi-oh! has a decent card game, just a pretty dumb show, in my opinion. So as long as a decent thing came from it, ignore it. It's not like anything bad happened to you because yu-gi-oh! is a bad TV show. On Topic- Your teacher doesn't realise that video games are mean't for fantasy gaming, for the most part. Tennis on there was more to get you used to the Wii. If he doesn't like it, then he doesn't need to pay $250 for it. (but then he'll miss out on Zelda > ------------------- ![]() quote zelda94 | |

No they're not, just those "hardcore" ones that simply have to talk worse then noobs, and replace every single vowel with a number from the land of l33tsp34k. Ones like my father play video games and are pretty good at it. I'm an excellent video game player, and he can still beat me at some of them (he prefers sports games, which I do not play so good at, mind you) Also, I hate those that believe video games are bad. Not to demote school, but I was homeschooled until the fifth grade, which meant I did about 1 hour of schoolwork, then played video games and talked on forums like this the rest of the time. Mostly I played video games like Mario kart 64, Super Mario 64, Majora's Mask, etc. AND YET I AM ONE OF THE SMARTEST KIDS AT SCHOOL! I've won a spelling Bee, a math competion, have gotten the best FCAT (a test required by state) score in the school, and many other things. Video games did not screw me over. I can multiply, and own people on SSB. Wii sports, and many other games. In short.
