does anyone else think that when playing baseball (when you are the team that is batting the ball) the other team catch the balls too easily....? it just seems that i either always get fowl ball or if i hit it properly, someone catches it too easily

(by the way, i only got a wii 2 days ago, so im not a pro yet)

or are there any tips for hitting the ball so that the other team does not catch it so esily, does the training mode help that much?, i tried it yesterday, any i'll keep trying agian, but its getting annoying now

That's still too lopsided. I just keep hitting homers or doubles.

I had this problem for a while, before I discovered how to hit better shots. Hold your Wiimote almost vertically at about shoulder height, and swing upwards. This might lead to a few catches, but less than before. Ive hit a few out of the park using this technique.

I find it ridiculous playing another player. I keep putting all the curveballs splitter balls et, into away from the body, and they do the same to me. Its impossible to hit the ball when you dont know what buttong your holding down to hit it! and even when you do hit it someone on their team will catch it anyway. Its ridiculous!

Then don't throw those pitches ALL THE TIME! I can hit those easily though, what are you talking about???

my trick to winning a match is to at least get 5 runs and then when i get out and its my turn to pitch i use the d-pad and press in the direction they are (for example if they were on the right i would keep pressing right and then throw) good thing with this technique either they will get strikeout or your front people will catch it because its so hard to hit, works everytime try it out sometime.

The AI that I go against makes a lot of errors. I think they suck at catching the ball xD.

Or if you want to avoid catches, hit the ball downwards. No chance of getting a home-run but its useful for singles or doubles.

OMG!! I recently just played this, and I got 5 runs in one inning. And then that mercy rule came in and the game ended with 5-0. When I got a homerun, the bases were loaded. That's how I got my 5-0. That's a grand slam and a normal run.
