CMR2 freezes

This is my fisrt post as a new member. Hello to everyone !

I just got a new WinXP PC (P4-2.8MHz, 512mb RAM, Radeon 9200, etc...)

CMR2 freezes when launched : won't go further than the splash screen !

Any solutions ?
