Am I the only one that likes this better than Call of Duty 2? |
|
Don't get me wrong here, Call of Duty 2 was almost as good and still an incredible game, but there's something about Call of Duty 3 I like better. I can't explain it right now, I'll come back and try to explain, but I love this game.
Does anyone else feel the same way?? | |

You may not be the only one but you are most definitely in the minority. COD 2 was made by Infinity Ward, the same people who made COD 4. But COD 3 was made by Treyarch and it just didn't have the same feel to it. That's why a lot of people don't hold out much hope for COD 5 since TY and IF make alternate games.

Yeah, I know they were made by different developers. I've always liked Call of Duty from the start, ever since the first one came out I've been playing it. But to be honest, as much as I loved the 2nd one (and believe me, i had a blast playing it), I still loved this one. The scenarios and everything. I don't see why people hate Treyarch so much, I think they did a fantastic job. This game may have had a more linear feel to it (even though you could choose your own pathways), but I felt it was perfect in doing a lot of things right (not that call of duty 2 did wrong, but simply everything in the game).

It was decent, but all in all just didn't feel as real as COD 4. It felt as if the developer just put more time into COD 2.

Lol Call of duty 4? well, i'd rather not compare Call of duty 3 to 4, im actually playing call of duty 3 again on veteran cuz i bought i for 15 bucks i have beaten it before a few times, but i don't think it's fair to compare Call of Duty 4 and 3 to each other; they are in completely different times, which makes everything different. But yeah i dunno, I'd have to play Call of duty 2 again to see how much i enjoyed it (and i know i did for sure, but yeah).

They're completely different because Call of Duty 4 is so far superior to any other CoD games, that there's no comparison to be made.

Yes I agree but Call of Duty 4 is Modern Combat and the rest are World War II why would you even compare them??? That's rather unfair to me haha

Call of Duty 2 is more fun to me. But if you can ignore the glitches of CoD3 (like me), it can be really fun too. Especially the uniforms and the tanks look better in 3.
