i did it from the off on Veteran and boy did i get angry. but in the end it was worth it.

I got it yesterday. At times I definitely thought it was impossible, but I finally achieved it. I must've died close 60 times though, lol.

I'm going to try and get this when I get the patience for it. Is it true that you need to do the entire campaign straight through on Veteran without skipping through the levels ?

Yes.

Not sure bout that one, mate. You can't go to Mission 14 and beat it on Veteran and expect 'Achievement Unlocked' to appear - Call of Duty has never been that type of game lol.

He meant can you do level 14, then level 10 and then the rest and still get the achievement. Not just level 14.

Does anyone else find this a lot harder than COD2 on Vet? I mean COD2 was no walk in the park but this is just frustrating...

I just got the game a few days ago,Im trying to beat it on normal now,sorta easy,but is there any way to see what you've completed each level on?

Yeah, this game is no Halo when it comes to tracking progress. I spose you just have to remember and hope that your console does the same!

If you're worried, you could always try and complete it on veteran mode in one sitting. Although I doubt many people have that kinda patience or time on their hands in one day. Then again, this is Neoseeker...

I am starting to do this on Veteran. Right now every time i start the game i go into single-player and click continue. Did everybody else do this? I just want to make sure i get the achievement.

I forgot how hard CoD games were on Veteran, now i am getting reminded (I beat CoD2 on Veteran).

I noticed that too, they really amped up the difficulty it seems.

I know, the lack of checkpoints is really starting piss me off to the point of severely torturing someone.

The lack of checkpoints is really frustrating. Especially since i was trying to complete it on Veteran without getting the 'Purple Heart' Achievement (I hadn't gotten it on normal). Then i got it on the level where you are in the building in the middle of the map, where you have to close 3 of the 4 entrances. What really pissed me off is that i died, unlocked the Achievement and passed the level right after i unlocked it.

Yeah, that bit was insanely hard on veteran. I almost made my tv bleed!
