How do you promote Ike and Michiah, I heard you can, but I've tried every way and nothing so far. I tried the normal way through leveling up, using master crowns, and just waiting to see if they promote for the sake of the story, but nothing yet. Do they promote really late in the game for story purposes or am I just missing something?

Micaiah should have promoted to second tier at the end of the first Part, and Ike promotes at the end of Part three.

Micaiah also promotes to third tier in the begging of part four endgame.

On my 2nd playthrough I had Micaiah at 20 a chapter before she needed to promote. On my first, I had no idea when she'd promote, so it was like playing in the dark.

I had to restart my first game because she was only level 12/-/- by the time she had to promote. It took me totally by surpise. I barely got her up to 20/-/- by promotion the second time but I had to use bexp. Now on my first playthrough of Manaic, I barely got her up to 20/-/-, but everyone else was at terrible levels. On the playthrough I'm doing right now, I Sacrifice abused and Stave abused on 2 chapters (the one where you first get Laura and then on the chapter where you face Pain and Agony, the sub humans with the tresure).
