Harvest Moon used to be a series just about farming. The games were usually just games where you took on the Role of a farmer and then simulated a life as a farmer. Now, there are new games such as this (a Puzzle game) and Rune Factory (Fighting is involved) where the motive of the game is completely changed.

Do you think there will be any more Harvest Moon games that are totally different than the rest? What do you think they will be like?

Yeah, but you have to remember....Rune Factory is different. Natsume aren't involved with that game what so ever. The Neverland company are the developers...and they have made a few RPGs in their time before with bits of fighting and fantasy. It may have Marvelous Interactive....but as usual they are just the publishers.

And I think the reason for this puzzle game is because it's something incredibly simple to make....and it adds on a little money to the companies because of some of the little kiddies fans who adore Harvest Moon.

They still make some of the modern HM games like the new DS ones that are coming out...along with the remake of BTN ....or Boys and Girls as it's known for the PSP.

i hope they do make a game which is different like one where you have to run the whole town and decide what buildings go where and who lives in your town. that would be great fun ^^

I think this game won't be a big hit, because most children won't really be interested, If you cant get married I especially think hardly anybody will buy it, I think after this game they will just stick to farming and such, seen as this is there first puzzle game, like in the title, I think that they are taking a risk, lol because not many children play puzzle games, Not any of my friends anyway, my friends like action games and adventure and fairy tale!! I dont know any that play games that u need to use ur mind lol, But i will see what this game is about and i will see if it looks like I will enjoy it

They aren't taking a risk at all....most puzzle games are very cheap to make...there's never that much to it than a simulation game.

They're not taking a risk...it's just making more money...adding more money to their profits because many people enjoy Harvest Moon...it may not be a proper Harvest Moon game...but you better believe there's going to be big Harvest Moon nuts who wish to buy all the games...whether they buy them or not....and besides, that's just one person's opinion really, I think a few kids like puzzle games...puzzle games are good...they need minds that know strategy...and I for one like puzzle games. ^^

They are basically just wanting to make more money on the side.

You live in America don't u HL? Maybe there diferent in r countries because I live in England. I know one person who plays puzzle games and is obsessed and that's a 25 year old boy, who's addicted to games anyway, I suppose this might be a big hit, but so far, we've had 2 opinion's, Who else thinks this will be a big hit??

Probably not a big hit, but like Homunculus Lover said, most Harvest Moon fans will buy it. I'll probably buy it too, puzzle games aren't too bad.

I feel like this game could be somewhat successful, but then again, straying too far from the whole point of harvest moon wasn't a great idea. It could make money, or just completely tank because people aren't all that interested in a Harvest Moon game that's a puzzle. That's how I feel, I really don't feel like buying this game because of I like the main point of Harvest Moon: To get married and have kids.
