Full price?

Seeing as the game has been ported, will be cheaper?.

I know it wasnt long since it came out. But my game money is vastly running out.

Seeing as I have £93 and I still need to pay of Dead Space and Mirrors Edge.

Anyway discuss if this should be full price or not.

Full price?

Why would it be cheaper? It's still a huge title and will cost around £40/$80, same as all PS3 games.

For me, it's worth every penny.

re: Full price?

Well you can get in on 360 for around £20.

I just need to get some more money, but I have alot of stuff I want to buy, excluding games.

Like a 32 inch Panasonic TV, thats ognna set me back atleast £900.

Full price?

Yeah, but that's because it's been around on 360 for a while now. It'll be a huge new game for PS3, so I seriously doubt it'll be any cheaper than the game was on release for 360.

re: Full price?

No 32" HDTV should set you back anywhere near £900! You can get a Bravia for about £600/700!!

Its one of the top 32 inches in England, so it is worth it.

re: Full price?

I am certain that this game wont be any cheaper than the 360 version was on release day. If anything it would probably be more expensive, since they added stuff to the game.

£900? Is it gold plated?

What make and model is this £900 32" HDTV?

re: Full price?

Just to note that this game is not exactly "full price". I've found this game for £30 on game.co.uk, where as most new releases are around the £35-£40 mark, so it is certainly slightly cheaper.

The point of adding things to a game that is released after another reason is to make the wait worthwhile, not to increase the price, and by that count, it'll be cheaper than the X360 version on day of release.

re: Full price?

I see your point Krunal, however this ps3 release is aiming for people who never played the 360 or PC version. It's to be considered a new ps3 game, which justifies full price.
I have never played bioshock on any of the other platforms and is looking forward to this release. I'll gladly pay full price for this game People who played the game before probably wouldn't and are most likely sticking to their 360 version.

re: Full price?

It justifies the full price, but it's NOT full price. Full price games cost £45 on day of release, this game only costs £30. That may just be in the uk, but I'm sure it's similar prices worldwide. Very few games cost £30 on day of release, and funnily enough the two that I've gotten (or getting) for that price are both 2K games (CivRev and Bioshock).

I too like you am a Bioshock virgin, and I can't wiat to play this game, especially because of the trophies

re: Full price?

Where I live it's the standard 45£, at least that's what it's set to so far.

But I noticed at amazon.uk it's only 30£ like you said

Usually I'm not a big fan of trophies, achievements, etc... but I have to agree that the trophy support for Bioshock is a good call

re: Full price?

I should also note... GAME STORES ARE RIPOFFS. I never realised this till a year or two ago, but the prices in stores compared to online will ALWAYS be higher. DO NOT BUY GAMES FROM INSTORE. You can almost always find the game cheaper online. I always buy from either Play/Amazon/Game and all three have low prices. If you then compare Game Online's prices to that instore, then you'll realise that it's actually around £5-£10 less. So do this - buy from Game.co.uk (esp if you have a game card) and you'll always be guaranteed a saving.
