----- ----- ----- ----- ----- [ via GameGrep | Read & Rate ] The demo was released just a couple of days ago for Bioshock, and it seems that the demo has caused a lot of trouble for 2K already as many gamers have noticed how the graphics in one particular section of the demo is appaling when compared to the XBOX360 version. 2K Forums' resident Community Manager Elizabeth Toby was however quick to respond to the situation with the below quote. Bioshit? I hadn't even noticed until people had said. This is a demo and everything else is incredible. The graphics I experienced were simply amazing. I don't understand all the hate.

It's one small part of the demo that had it, and personally, I don't think the quality of the game graphics wise will influence my decision to get the game, because from what I saw, it was spectacular. My mouth was literally in wide open from the moment the demo started due to the amazing graphics.
Unfortunately, with soo many other games releasing, I may have to wait a couple of months before I get this game  -------------------  | |

@d00d x the point is its about the demo of bioshock on how bad one of the parts is. You can see the pixels more so then the 360 demo. In fact the developers themselves said the demo was bad and they take full responsibility for screwing up. So there's a reason why it was made.

Very good news after the disappointment of the Big Daddy texture.
This is copied from the 2K forums "UPDATE (October 14): Hey guys, I have good news from the dev team about a patch for BioShock PS3! They have been working on a patch to address the concerns some of you on the forum have talked about. As work is in progress I do not have a definite date for when this patch will be released as it needs to be tested and clear certification with Sony before it is scheduled and released. I do know this will not be until after the game's launch, and I will update you with details on that date as I receive them. I'll be releasing the entire patch list when it's all finalized, but for now I'm sure you'll be happy to see that these two fixes are included: Big Daddy Bouncer and Elite Bouncer Textures Appeared Pixelated Fix for an issue where large blocky pixels would show up whenever viewing the Bouncer and Elite Bouncer variants of the Big Daddy. White Bars Fix for an issue where white/discolored bars would show up at the right and bottom sides of the screen during the plane crash / water scene at the beginning of the game. I'm sure many of you are eager to see what Big Daddy looks like after this fix, so here are two screenshots of him in his patched glory!" I'm just saying that there's no reason to plan a patch before the game is released. You might as well just fix it on the game disc itself.
