I have recently acquired BioShock on the PlayStation 3 and it was all running fine for 3 hours until i hit a battle with Big Daddy, the frame rate dipped so low for about 30 seconds that i couldn't move whatsoever. I know it isn't my console as this hasn't happened in any other games at all, i was wondering if anyone else has encountered such an issue.

So far it hasn't happened again though i have turned on the maximise frame rate option to limit it happening. It just has me concerned as i expect this kind of thing to happen in a PC game but not on a console game that has been optimised.

I haven't had framerate issues so far, apart from a few occasions with a lot happening on screen. I'm on my second playthrough.

Ah thank you for the reply Coi, it was just a concern as nothing was really happening on screen it was just me and big daddy duking it out, unless his attacks have the power of killing the framerate lol.
