Long-winded question |
|
Here goes...
Back in February I bought Bioshock for the PS3 and got to (I think) the 3rd chapter when my PS3 packed in. I sent my PS3 in for repair, but also took the game back to the shop - at that stage I wasn't certain whether the game had caused my PS3 to die (I wondered whether the games large install was partly the cause). I guess partly out of anxiety and maybe superstition, I didn't fancy playing the game again when I got my PS3 repaired in case it broke again! Anyways, I now also own a 360 and would like to play Bioshock again. I'm weighing up the options of which console to get it for. I recall finding the PS3 version's graphics a bit blurry, and have read (although I don't always trust the sources) that the 360 version is clearer graphically. Is there any truth in this? Also, something that might sway me towards getting it for the PS3 again is whether I can go back and replay from the beginning with the same 'character'? I want to refresh my mind with the plot and story, but I'm not so keen on starting up without all the powers, weapons, etc that I'd accumulated. If I am to do this all again, maybe I might as well buy the 360 version if it's a better version? Thanks | |

I'd go with the 360 version since its cheaper and I noticed the graphics are somewhat better on that than the PS3 version. And also the 360 version doesn't require a 5 gigabyte install for the game, you just need to download the free plasmids off of the marketplace and you're all good.
