You go into the pause menu and toggle to the Available Costumes tab. If you have the PS3 version you have access to 2 or 3 costumes, including the black costume and New Goblin. New Goblin requires either the DLC or the Special Edition SM3.

Hmmmm Are you sure? I don't think that the Symbiote suit is dependent on anything but beating the game.I know I did all the collections before completing the storyline a year ago, so maybe that's it? I don't think so, though. Stinger, you have any idea about this one? Because as far as I knew, the only requirement is to beat the main storyline.

If I remember right, to unlock the black suit to play anytime, you have to beat the story, and then go into the main menu on the pause screen and beat the Arena section. Its like 4 or 5 pretty easy fights and then the Black suit becomes available to switch to at any time.

I don't think I beat a single Arena challenge in my original play through with the red suit. Next time I boot up the game I will switch to red Spidey, but I am pretty certain I did none of the arenas.

All of the Arena challenges are locked.

Okay, you have to be missing something, Frazeb. Try this: Go to your pause map (select button) then toggle up and down with the D-Pad to "Missions" and look over the entire map to see if you have any missions NOT completed. Because that's what it sounds like is going on. I bet you're missing something you forgot to do.

Anyway, on the pause screen there are 3 arenas and 4 timed arenas. Beating them unlocks something, I just cant remember what it unlocks.

Ah cool. Are the 7 arena's particularly difficult in this game? Or are they more on the fair side? Just curious.

Red suit they are challenging, but black suit is a joke. I shattered the time records for them all using the black suit.

Im just trying to remember what they unlock, because there was a reason I did them. I normally wouldnt have messed with them because they just arent my thing.

As far as I can tell they unlocked nothing. When I finished number 11 I got no message or prompt telling me about a reward.
