Dr.Connors part 2 Help!

In dr.connors part 2 anyone got any tips how to save the last dispenser??

When alll the lizards start to spawn and ypou have to protect the dispenser like for 2 minutes? Its impossible.

If you know any secrets please help me.

Your health at full? Just get 100% crime stopper rating or whatever, and yout get full health..

I had to try this a few times myself...its best to go in with a special attack ready, start with a special attack (when a number of enemies are close enough, and then beat the snot out of them...jump and attack, and repeat, if you're getting low on health, and always use Slow Down Time neh?

Abuse special attacks attacks...particularly that one where you jump and smash your fist down...

This one can be tough the first time through with red spidey.

The best attacks you can use are these.

1. Air super: This one snags all lizards in the area and defeats them. Should be your R1 and Jump

2. 5 lights and one heavy. The 5 lights dont need to connect for it to work. Just count em out and hit the heavy. This one is similar to the air super in that it yanks all nearby lizards into the air and defeats them.

Basicly just spam those two attacks repeatedly and eventually you will get it.

YOu gotta be *bleep*ing kidding me. Is this mission even doable with the red suit? I am poinding the living shit out of them, not even coming close to dying and there is no way to keep that dispenser safe. The combo you mentioned (4 lights and a heave) only works sometimes because the lizards just overpower the dispenser and block the combos.

Okay this is definitely worth a double post. I just accidentally discovered a way to beat this with ease. I am going to write all the guys who wrote walkthroughs for this game, because this one is definitely a keeper! Your left thumb will be a little tired but it works. Man I just saved myself hours of un-fun frustration. Sorry Stinger, I know you don't like when I rag on this game, but this mission was just over the top in a complete exercise in frustrating tedium lacking in any fun. Well, here is how I did it, in case anyone comes across this thread and hasn't beaten this one yet. Without realizing it, I started the mission off with a fully charged power meter. So I was doing a shitload of light attack combos, because the heavy's just take you too far from the dispenser and they Lizards just pummel it. Anyway, I did the R1+Web Web-Ultimate attack, and I just didn't let go of either the R1 button or the left analog stick. I just kept my finger on the paddle and rotating the left stick and I spent almost the entire two minutes spinning the same dead dozen lizards around, knocking any other lizards away that were coming toward me and the dinspener. The only problem I had was that some of the lizards spit at the dispenser from a distance, and were damaging it. I have no idea if either letting go of the shoulder button or if I stopped rotating the analog stick would interrupt the spinning, but I WAS NOT taking any chances.

Luckily even the spitters tried to come in for a close up attack and I finished the mission with a little over 1/4 dispenser health. It should be noted that MOST of the damage to the dispenser was done BEFORE I started my little Spidey-Rodeo, and the only damage the dispenser took after I started swinging the dead lizards around was from spitters. What was weird was that the web-rodeo thingy broke after a while, but it broke only when I had just about 12 seconds left, and there didn't seem to be anyone else interested in attacking at that point as the lizards were already turning human.

The only thing I don't know is whether or not releasing R1 would have caused Spidey to stop spinning the dead lizards around, but I didn't take any chances. I was also in slo-mo when I started spinning and I am not sure if that somehow enabled me to keep it going or not. Either way, that maddeningly boring mission is over and I will play the Grand Finale now before starting a new game as Black Spidey.

Ihave the funny feeling that the combat tours will be easier now, and all I really need to do is to learn how in the *bleep* to do the loop checkpoints.

Snipped from my Stinger Review posted in May of last year....

"Most of the game was frustration free for me, save for that whole "Defend the Gas Cannisters in the Sewer" business. That just flatout pissed me off."


I have no disagreements as to the annoyance of that particular mission. Sounds like you got off easy with that Web Rodeo thing. I tried that during my many failures of that final cannister, and on 360 it just never worked.

As you pointed out, the spitters with hit it from a distance, and also I would find myself getting hit with spitters also and it would break the super.

I just basicly spammed the air super and the one where you yank everyone up in the air after about 5 hits. On 360, it doesnt matter if anyone blocks, you just count out the lights and hit the heavy and the webs activate. You can even do it without any enemies around, which is what made it so useful.

I couldn't seem to pull of the combos because they would get interrupted. Either I would get hit and that would stop the combo or I would get blocked and that would. Not sure which one was the cause of my inability to get the combos to work while surrounded, because the game isn't that detailed or I was just so frustrated. Anyway, yeah that was really a bad mission. Though I would disagree about it being the only frustrating mission, but we already know that.

I have the same problem too. But I always stuck at the 2nd dispensor. It drives me NUTS! Once, I came to the 3rd one, but I failed. Now, uh-uh I always stuck at the 2nd one!

EDIT #2: Finally, I completed this(damn)mission. I used the bug. It really worked, you must try too. However, that was the last mission. It was the mission only left. Soo, thank you and you must try the bug if you couldn't pass the mission.

Holy Crap! I just played this mission in the black suit so I figured I would post here and bump this.

Apparently my "trick" doesn't work while in the black suit because it is NO LONGER the Ultimate Rodeo, it is the Ultimate Web Hammer. I now experienced the NIGHTMARE of this mission, having to replay it a bunch of times in utter frustration. What in the name of everything holy could induce a developer (who one would assume LOVES gaming) make missions like this that are so ill conceived and seem fashioned, not for fun, but for frustration?

I stand by my original strategy.

5 lights, one heavy. You dont have to connect with any of the attacks. Just count em out and repeat it. The heavy yanks everyone up into the air. When you get a super, do Ultimate Puppet Master.


Web launcher is a combo that is available to both suits. When you get it going, you launch one group into the air and immediately start the combo again when you hit the ground. By the time youre ready to hit the heavy again, more lizards are in range and are immediately launched.


Even with the red suit, I cant get that rodeo trick to work. Spitters target me, and once I get hit the super is broken.

If I decide to go through the career mode again, I will try this on that mission. Hehehe I love the Web Gatherer! I think that's the combo you are talking about. Oddly enough I only had to do this about 5 times before passing it. The way I ended up passing it was to stay in reflex and keep hitting fast attack over and over again, but not trying to make large chains. I found that the long chains dragged me away from the canister. Also, positioning myself (Spidey's body) as a human shield right in front of the canister helped, because I took most of the acid-spit damage instead of the canister. And whenever they gathered around it I used the Ultimate Ground Pound rage combo to clear them away. Oddly enough, when I beat this mission, my health was down to a sliver, because of all the lizard acid-spit, or whatever that is, hitting me instead of the canister.
