Nah, that would take away from the feel of the game. The capture gun just does something for this game, and punching would take away from that feel.

Actually, there is. There is a room you can go into (you can't move or anything) where it has all of the elebits, including bosses and transformations, along with a description of each and their name. You can also build your own exhibit in edit mode.

He is right, there is a place you go that has every elebit you have captured in it, a description, and that stuff.
