I don't think there's a general Dragon Quest thread so I'm putting this here. It also include other square enix news.

Square Enix is currently creating an MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online) game based on the Mana series for Nintendo's Wii;


If sales of Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker (Nintendo DS) and Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors (Wii) get good sales, then the company will bring Dragon Quest IX to the Wii!"

Of course. Actually I've only just figured out that GD stands for general discussion and I thought that maybe that thread was made especially for DQ Swords talk.
