Help! my tamagotchi v3 will not except passwords, everytime I enter all the numbers for anything it just says error. whats wrong

(5)Infrared communications
This function is used to communicate with other people's Tamagotchis.
Communicating with another Tamagotchi many times may raise your
Tamagotchi's Closeness Level* for that particular friendship. If a friendship
reaches the True Love level, the couple can make a Love Marriage
(as opposed to having an Arranged Marriage), and give birth
to the next Tamagotchi generation.

Exchanging presents
When two Tamagotchis become friends, either one can jump across
and deliver a present to the other. Depending on what the present is,
their Closeness Level will change. There are good presents such as
cake and flowers, and bad presents such as monsters.

Balloon-Popping Game, Gobbling Contest
Two Tamagotchis can start a game of their own accord. In the
Balloon-Popping Game, the first one to pop the balloons wins.
In the Gobbling Contest, the first one to eat all the food is the winner.
The better your Tamagotchi's general condition, the more likely it is to
win the game.

(6)Discipline
Discipline can be provided in two forms: Scolding and Patting.

(7)Medical care
If the skull icon or the toothache icon appears, your Tamagotchi is sick.
You need to provide your Tamagotchi with medical care until the illness
icon disappears.

(8)Light
At night, turn off the light when your Tamagotchi starts yawning.

(9)Tamagotchi Notebook
The names of friends your Tamagotchi has played with can be stored
in a Friends List holding up to 50 entries, and displaying the Closeness Level
for each one. And, if your Tamagotchi has received a toy or a dress-up item
as a present, this can be stored away as a prized possession.

* What does "Closeness Level" mean?
When your Tamagotchi plays with the same Tamagotchi friend on multiple
occasions, their Closeness Level will go up.
Typical sequence of changes in Closeness Level: Acquaintance -> Friend
-> Close Friend -> Very Close Friend -> Sweetheart -> True Love
(If both Tamagotchis are of the same gender, their Closeness Level can only
progress as far as Very Close Friend.)

Other Functions

Arranged Marriage
When your Tamagotchi reaches marriageable age (when it has been at the
breeding stage for 3 full days), Mrs. Busybody will appear, bringing a photo of
a potential marriage partner. Your Tamagotchi can then meet this potential
partner, and go on to get married and have children.

Caring for a Tamagotchi parent and child
If you are taking care of a Tamagotchi which has just become a parent, it
will initially take care of its own child. When it is about one day old, the child
will separate from its parent, and you will then need to give the child a name
and start taking care of it.

All functions above are controlled from the three buttons below the screen. The "left" button is called "A", the "middle" button is called "B" and the "right" button is called "C".
"A" lets you scroll clockwise thru icons at the bottom of the screen to select a function.
"B" is used to select a function once you highlight it with "A". It also scrolls through the information in each function and is used to set the time and date.
"C" is used to return to the main screen from within a function or to unselect all functions in the main screen.
The "skull icon" means your Tamagotchi is ill and needs at least one dose of medicine.
You can connect your Tamagotchi Connection to another one (if they are both old enough) by using the "A" button to select the "heart" icon in the top right corner of the screen. Point the keychain end of each Tamagotchi at each other, then press the "B" button twice. When you get them connected, they will automatically play games with each other, or visit and leave presents.
Be sure to turn out the light when your Tamagotchi sleeps at night, he will automatically turn it on when he wakes up.
Up to fifty friends can be stored along with the level of friendship: aquaintance, buddy, friend, good friend, best friend, true partner (indicated by the number of smiley faces).

Tamagotchi Square offers some tips from translations of two Japanese books providing hints for raising Tamagotchi Plus (the Japanese version of Tamagotchi Connection).
The books are Bandai's Tamaplus Raising Guide (Japanese title is "Kaettekita Tamagotchi plus Suku Suku Sodatekata Guide") and the Bandai Playing Book (Kaettekita! Tamagotchi to Asobu Hon").
Tamagotchi Plus has meters for Hunger, Happiness and Discipline. The books speculate there are three other variables of importance (Luck Level, Body Needs, and Heart/Spirit).
Luck Level ranges from one to five. If Tamagotchi's Luck level is high, they will be offered more disciplined (higher discipline level) parters in arranged marriages. Luck Level is fixed at birth and never changes, but marrying a higher Luck Level partner increasing Luck Level of the resulting offspring.
Body Needs are food, health and discipline.
Heart Needs are happiness, sleep and comforting.
Reacting to all calls within 15 minutes, turning light off within one hour of going to sleep at night and sucessfully playing at least 20 steps in the games (hurdles or dance) help Body Needs and Heart Needs.

Don't give Tamagotchi too many snacks! While it does bring up his happiness, it also makes him gain weight

If it is not letting you put in passwords and getting your prize that just means that either it is wrong or your tamagotchi all ready has it::

i have the same problem i enter the password and it doesnt work and my brothers is the same!!! so they can't all be messed up coz we got them for christmas!!!!

I think you have to have a special user name for some passwords. That username is GKB. You also have to have it if you are going on tamatown.

You do not have to have a special user name to make the passwords work

uh... no you don't -_- i always do it and i don't use special passwords
so it must be something in your tama or it means when you went into
tamatown, you put in the wrong username.

yeah...mabe your just writing the wrong password...you do need to get one before you write one

My tamagotchi is the same. i saw the password, i tried to reset it , but it wont show it again. i just bought it this morning with my allowence.
