what is a good level to dual class my kensai to amage?

seriously this is an RPG and you are supposed to play them how you feel like. so try dualling when you think you should and seeing what happens. thats how you get good at these games, you try things, you fail and you learn.

Theres a good piece of advice. Make the mistake early, then when you realize you have to start again, theres less work to do!

Indeed, asking for advice does not mean anyone will act on it.

Personally, the Kensai-mage combination shouldn't be done until probably level 9, for the bonuses you get. From then on in, if you decided not to, you do get a speed bonus if you do so at 13, from what I remember. Although some swear that 13 is better because of improved THACO and improved saves. Mages tend to level a little more slowly early on so it's best to be a bit higher up.

Now, from what I know, the requirements involve being human, with 15 strength and 17 intelligence to pull that off. =)

Dont Dual Kensei to Mage anyway. Kensei is the greatest class in the game and to tarnish it with some puncy spellcaster skills would be shameful. Stick to the art of swords and you can become the greatest damage dealing guru in the game. Trust me on that one.
