I've always played this game as a good character. Mostly chaotic-good or neutral-good. First because I liked it, but when I played the game later on, it was more because I just did not really know how to play evil in the right way. I reckon it's more than just hack and slash your way through everything.

The obvious evil party would probably include Korgan, Edwin, Viconia, and, if one posesses Throne of Bhaal, Sarevok, and maybe a Neutral character like Yoshimo, who wouldn't be hurt too much by all the evil lurking around him.

But do you have to always use the "I'm a bastard replies"? Always ask for a high reward, choose Bodhi's side, Try and gain from your demon self, help out people only for the gain and them tell them to piss off?

I'm relishing the opportunity to try but could do with a bit of advice really.

It's difficult to stick with an evil character at times mostly because of the whole asshole-ish way it seems you have to hold yourself. Personally, I usually give true neutral or some other form of neutral a go when I feel like just doing whatever I want to do and not stick with one of the normal types of characters.
