What do you guys think if Animal Crossing Wii took the Weather Channel's weather and used it as it's own? THat way, if you live in a really warm place and it doesn't snow in the winter, then it's more realistic for the person who owns the game =)

Tbh that sounds like a really good idea. You could travel to different peoples' towns around the world and you'd have different weather everywhere. Great idea.

Yeah, especially. Places like Hawaii don't really have snow, so the disadvantage would be you wouldn't be able to obtain wintery weather, but then again people with snow could get Igloo visitors, and people without could get tent visitors like the GCN version.

But if you ever wanted snow, there should be an option which makes that available =D

Thanks for the great opinions, the only reason I mention this is that it's a real peave for me, seeing where I live there is snow until Mid-April, yet in Wild world snow lasts until FEbruary 25th, and I like the snow =)

I just wanted to make the game more realistic, I do really like the spring weather, some people like fall weather, winter, and spring weather, so I hope it's customizable =)

It was foggy this morning in Boston, and it was foggy in my Animal Crossing Town.

That would be awesome. It would add a whole new level of individuality to the towns. And it seems entirely possible.

Natural Disasters! XD

"OMG! There's a Tornado outside! Quick, Let's play Animal Crossing and push Tom Nook into it!" XD

Natural disasters might be fun, as long as they don't happen at the same time as in real life, because if your house is being flooded, why would you be playing Animal Crossing? I don't think the natural disasters should do anything really bad to you, except maybe create a few holes that make it hard to maneuver around town, throw some items around, destroy the houses of animals you don't like...

*GASP* THERE'S A WILDFIRE OUTSIDE THE HOUSE! QUICK! TURN ON THE WII AND STOP IT FROM GETTING TO BOB'S HOUSE!

I think maybe they could come randomly, the natural disasters. That would be really cool actually. A huge thunderstorm and a tornado come to play.

A natural disaster in Animal Crossing is like cursing in Sesame Street. It completely goes against the formula of the game.

Well they wouldn't have to be serious. Maybe some little whirlwinds that scatter items, blizzards in the winter that make it hard to see, or heavy rainstorms that make big puddles of water everywhere so you can't move as fast. Those would actually fit pretty nicely I think.
