Well, I figure that Nook probably makes a lot of money in his sideline that he never talks about of being a fruit, fish, and bug exporter. Sure, he never talks about it and nobody else does either, but he probably sells everything to foreign countries for twice what he pays me! Crafty little guy.

And yes, summer is GREAT! I love the fishing. Seems like I can hardly catch a pocketful of fish that isn't worth 10,000-20,000 bells these days. Eels, Arowana, gars, hammerhead sharks, and so many more high money makers seem to abound.

Summer doesn't like me, that's all. My bags are always so full I can't stinkin' catch anything worth having.
Horse Mackeral & Sea Bass are my mortal enemies.

For the Nook thing. I think he hacked into your shopping card account and withdrawals like... 1500b each.

From my [prospective] if you donate a rare fish to museum instead of selling it first..you will catch that fish more often..likei donated a barred knifejaw fish and 2 hrs later i catch like 4 of them so far. I donated a catfish and now i caught like 3 of them.
