As far as i can tell there are no relations between any of the animals. Sure, theres various of bears, cats, dogs etc but none of them are related as far as the game goes and personality is totally a different thing.

i thinks hes talking about how some of your villagers say the same greeting, catchphrase, etc. theyre not related, if you see you villagers talking then there is a chance that they might share their greetings, phrases, etc.

God, do I ever hate that! Because after all the thought you put into coming up with a catchphrase such as "Omo" for a cow-like animal, suddenly one of your cat-like neighbors begin using it and then it just won't stop spreading like some horrbile daily fad!

Ya that happens i had to rabits in my town Ruby and Carmen and both would sometime say "Im out for a walk beacuse i just ate 50 pounds of (food stated from animal)so im kinda bloated

Yeah, most of the female residents tend to say that(and food in general/food references seem to be the main conversational topic for these animals, go figure). But it's the cathphrase sharing that annoys me the most.
