ok i buried a shovel and then moved it forward a day to make it a golden shovel i put it to 1st sep. i went into the city and basically everything in Gracie Grace is sold out. why? ive never seen it before

It's not that you did anything wrong, it's just she puts her items on sale at some point through the season. When she does, a lot of other animal neighbours buy some items too, resulting in the sold sign.
