ok...so in sootopolis er whatever...there is this guy in this house with a door and its locked...is there anyway to get the door to unlock...i noticed the same thing in fire red...there is a lady in a house and there are six boxes blocking the doorway and it says there is a breeze and ive never figured out how to get the door to unlock or get past the boxes....SO if anyone one knows how to that would be wonderful.....thanks

There's nothing behind the doors then, it's only something that could only be accessed in Japan for a while a long time ago, using E-reader cards or something.

I think they might still be sold on Ebay, don't know.

bummer....i know alot of these sites have a lot of stuff that isnt true, but i never thought about the jap. versions...i guess it all makes sence now

Ok, so I believe this is what you do:
The door that is locked within the house: If you have an E-Reader card, you can scan it somehow with something, somewhere,I don't know. But anyway, behind the locked door is just another trainer to battle. I don't think it's worth it, though.
