Pokémon Battle Revolution
Guidelines

When participating in this forums, there are some rules that need to be followed at all times. These rules will be outlined below, so you can view them at any time. Also, you need to make sure that you follow the Sitewide Rules. Thanks.

No Spamming
Spamming consists of a lot of things, but it is basically a post that doesn't add to the discussion value of the thread. I am going to break up Spamming into different categories, so you can have a better understanding of what it is.

    1. Going Off Topic-Each thread was designed for an individual topic, so you need to stick to it. Some things can be grouped together in a single thread, but you shouldn't talk about something completely random. If you want to talk about something else then make a new thread about it.
    2. Flooding-Flooding is when you post in most of the threads, if not all of them, on the first page. You need to let other people give their input, so the forum works as a community.
    3. One-Liners-Posting a really short sentence, or just one word, really doesn't add anything to the thread. These are things such as "yeah", "that's cool", and "lol".
    4. Double Posting-This means posting twice in a row; please just don't do it. In the bottom right-hand corner of your post you will see edit. Click on that if you feel the need to add anything to your post.

No Flaming
Flaming is basically yelling at someone or saying something to make them mad or hurt their feelings. Yelling can be considered typing in all caps, so please try not to do so. Cussing at someone also falls under this category. If you are mad or don't agree with someone then PM them.

No Memberating
Memberating is acting like a moderator in a forum that you do not moderate. I am going to give you some tips on what to do if you feel that a moderator is needed, without memberating.

    1. Duplicate Threads-If there is already a thread like one just made on one of the first couple pages, you can link the person to that thread. You can also report it if you feel that is necessary.
    2. Rule Breaking-If someone is breaking a rule, please just report it. Please do not respond to them, or tell them what they are doing wrong.
    3. Thread Closures-If a thread needs to be closed, or you want your thread closed, do not say so in the thread. Simple PM me, and I will decide whether or not it needs to be closed.

No Advertising
Advertising is posting a website and telling people to go to it. It is not allowed on Neoseeker, so if you want people to go to a website put it in your signature or profile. If you see someone advertising then please report it and take the message out of view.

Don't Bypass Bans
Do not create another User Account to get out of a ban. You will definitely be caught and it will only result in a longer ban.

Don't Discuss Illegal Material
Discussion about ROMs, Emulators, and other illegal material is not allowed on Neoseeker. This is because it is illegal. If you see anyone post this then please report them and take their message out of view.

No Adult Content
There are a lot of younger members that frequent this site, since it has to do with the Gaming Industry, and they should not be exposed to adult material. This includes linking to the pornographic material, or the posting of pornographic text or imagery.

re: Forum Guidelines

The following are tags that will be applied to any posts dealing with

-Battles
-Clans
-WiFi

They will be treated as forum rules and you may be punished if you do not use them correctly.
Please put the proper protocol before your title.
E.G

[Battle]Testing Out New Team
[Clan]Wazzup
[WiFi Help]Is My Router Compatible?

[Battle] This tells people that you are requesting a battle. Please put the rules in the thread as they may use something you don't want.
E.G
No ubers, Sleep Clause, Evasion Clause
For an example of rules click here
If you do not know what "ubers" or "OU" Pokemon are click here

[Clan] Clans are groups of people that are together and do some of the following activities, tournaments, discussion, helping each other. They usually have ranks and a leader[s]. The first post should be well organized and should have a name like "[Clan]Pokemon Training Clan" and should not say "starting a clan"

[WiFi Help] If you are unable to log on to Nintendo WiFi or if you keep getting disconnected. Put [WiFi Help] in front of your post. Common problems deal with error codes and routers.

If you have any questions, private message the moderator in charge. If you have any other things that do not fit the thread titles, like an in game question, feel free to post it.
