Okay, so I have heard countless people say that missingno isn't it yellow, and then other people say, no he is! He is just called mew! Well let me just say bluntly, just because a pokemon is a glitchy looking square, does not mean he is missingno. Missingno is called missingno, not mew. Anyway, I found him! The real one! He sure as hell wasn't mine though, he was Gary's! I used a GS to leave Pallet town without getting a pikachu, then I went and caught Mewtwo, and went to fight the elite four. I beat all of them and when I got to Garry, he had a really weird party of pokemon. A psyduck, a ryhorn, a zubat, nidoran male, tentacool, all level 13, and then he sent out MissingNo.! It glitched up and froze my game, no matter how many times i tried it, but that sounds like missingno to me! I have a picture if anyone wants to see, and I'll even send you the VBA save file for the battle against garry where he brings it out.

Well to just start you off, you used a GS to leave the town before getting pikachu which already stuffs your storyline up.

Missingno can be traded from red and blue. That's about it.

Yeh but i'm sure if you trade missingno from b/r to yellow it freezes your game.

Nope, just does the same old messed up graphics effect that is does in blue/red.

I was lucky enough to catch a missingno without glitching up game on pokemon red. And i traded it onto gold and it turned into another pokemon. I forgot the name coz gold bust up.

Well if would have changed into something considering it doesn't have a dex number.

If you trade missinggo to gold, silver, or crystal, it changes to that pokemon with paint on it's tail; I forget the name. He is mostly white except for the green tip of his tail. You can find him in the Artisan Cave in Emerald Version.

Look, it doesn't turn itto a certain Pokemon, just a random common Pokemon. The wiered glitch Pokemon was just found by using GS. Anything found by using GS is consider a non in-game glitch. There are all sorts of glitch Pokemon found by using GS. Your's is nothing special.
