I'm in the early stages of the game (about to go into Rock Tunel) and was thinking about which Pokemon would be worth catching now so I can train them through the game. Is it really worth having the 3 starter Pokemon or should I go with different choises. What are your thoughts? -------------------  Latest comic: It Prints Anger | |

I would go for Pikachu, Catapie, Geodude, Bellsprout, Pidgey and Nidoran to start off with and level them up so they evolve. Ive completed the game but am still using Pikachu, Gravler (evolved from geodude), Nidoqueen (evolved from nidoran and Victrebell (evolved from bellsprout) | |

At the point you are at I would have a sandshrew, mankey, pikachu, kmaybe a pidgey or ratata but i wouldnt keep them long. | |
