ok i have surf and at least 5 badges and im trying to do the cheat for over 100 poke balls or whatever. and it says that u need to go talk to the guy that shows you how to catch the pokemon before u go and surf and hes not there. idk if i should start over or wat to do?!?!?! so please help me!!!

Are you trying the MissingNo cheat. . .I'm afraid it was taken out of the Yellow Version. If not, please fill us in on this glitch

i figured it out after i beat the 7th gym leader i went to check and he was there. i have another question though... what do u get in the seafoam island cave or does it bring u somewhere? let me know. thanks. oh and how was that cheat taken off?

(A)It was a glitch, not a cheat.(B)You catch Articuno in seafoam, it is also 1 of 2 ways of getting to cinnabar.

The Glitch was present in Red and Blue, which came out before Yellow, was discovered, and removed before Yellow was released

i don't think it was removed. only isolated or changed. i have pkmn silver and yellow and was trying to trade some pokemon over to yellow. when i got into the time capsule and clicked the computer thing it said PLEASE WAIT like it always does and the yellow trade page loaded before silver (silver actually never loaded at all) and when it did the page was all weird with symbols and different pokemon. i recall seeing an alakazam, rhydon, "trainer pokemon", MISSINGNO., etc. half of them i didn't even own.

i still puzzled at why missingno was in there and how? it was supposed to be removed. p.s. im going to make this into a real thread so more people can answer it

i have pokemon yellow but its not the special pikachu edition its just pokemon yellow and i have the missingno glitch. its confuzzling

There is no non-Special Pikachu Edition yellow version. Yellow is just a nickname, the official name of the game (as shown on the cartridge) is Pokémon: Special Pikachu Edition. As such, there is no Missingno glitch in yellow.

If you're using an ROM and you have the glitch, chances are you're using a modified ROM. And if you're using the cartridge, then your game is probably just *bleep*ed up.

yes but i luk on the back of mi cartridge and it just sez pokemon and ther is a pic of pikachu on it(as u can see in the pic)
and i do have the missingno glitch so HA!
